A Study on the Research Trend of Art Psychotherapy for Improving Children's Learning Ability

Abstract
This study analyzes research trend of 64 KCI registered journals, from 1994 to february 2016. This study suggests the future direction of art psychotherapy research to improve children's learning factor. This analysis looks for a trend by classifying them into year, subject per disability types, relevant factors hinder learning, research design types, art psychotherapy techniques, the number of times to apply the intervention program. and the research methods were analysis standard and reported descriptive statistics by percentage. The results are as follows; first, research of Art psychotherapy research on childhood learning had been increased from 2006. second, in the study of subject per disability types had the most common type of a study of low-income and broken families. third, the trend analysis of learning factors had been proven effective mainly in the affective aspects such as motivation, self-concept, self-esteem, self-efficacy. forth, types of research design art psychotherapy study on childhood learning is a single group and a single case study. fifth, analysis of the trend in art psychotherapy, 64 art of therapeutic research on childhood learning psychology research apply the individual and collective art therapy most frequently. sixth, Looking at the number of interventions, depending on the application, art psychotherapy study on childhood learning interventions are applied research program for 16 to 20 sessions. based on the above results, we discussed and suggested the future directions of art psychotherapy research on the learning factors of children.
